Steve Hensen enshrined into the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame during the 2009 Induction ceremony. Presenting keynote speaker is Gary Bender, 2008 KSHOF inductee. Steven Michael Henson was one of the states top all-around athletes at McPherson High School before going on to become one of the greatest basketball players in Kansas State University history. He was two-time first-team all-state selection at McPherson High School and was named Mr. Kansas Basketball in 1986. Henson was also a Junior Olympic national champion in both the decathlon and high jump and a Kansas high school state champion in both the javelin and high jump. At Kansas State, he was a member of the track and field team as a decathlete and took third at the Big Eight Championships as a sophomore and junior. His tough, tenacious and smart play on the basketball court helped Henson become one of the most respected players in the Big Eight Conference from 1986-90. During his four year college career, Henson set eleven Big Eight records and 21 Kansas State records including both season and career records for assists, steals, and free throw percentage. He was a four-year starter on K-State teams that made four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances the only Wildcat in history to accomplish that feat. Continue into a cave where the car will stop. Pick up the flares on the snowbank ahead to the left. Jump over to the WINCH. Place the battery in the opening on the side. Climb onto the top platform (facing the arm) and use the winch starter to get it going. This will lower the yellow submersible. Now comes the hard part. In the pool below the winch platform, there's a single yellow light on the wall. Dive in and swim down toward that light and into the passageway just to the right of it. You can climb out here to get air and warm up. Now, jump in the water again and swim underneath the submersible where you'll find an opening you can climb into. There's a large medipak inside. What are Skateboard Bearings Made Out Of?

Skateboard bearings are usually made from a few different materials. Stainless steel and chromium steel are usually the main metals the bearings are made out of, the retainer maybe nylon or stainless steel, and the ball steel or ceramic steel. Depending on your requirements skateboard bearings can be made out of rubber, metal or Teflon. All bearings have the option of coming sealed with metal protection shields or open. People buy sealed bearings because dust and dirt can get inside the bearing and cause them to not run properly and then lead to failure. The protective coating prolongs the life of the bearing and how well it rides.

This reduces the friction between the inner race and the outer race, allowing the wheel to turn freely and easily.

How to install and Maintain:

Installation and Maintenance Roller skates use two bearings per wheel. The bearings are pressed into the inside and outside rims of the rubber wheel. Once seated properly, the wheel will spin evenly.
